Storybird - would be great for journaling!! Even in a 1 or 2 computer classroom, students could create 1 book during their time on the computer! And each student would get a chance to create during the day!

I wasn't able to sign on to get an account but Text to Movie would be a great way to get students writing about their perceptions of current events or to retell a story of what happened! THey would write more if they could see it played out on the screen!
